COMFORT AND SAVINGS

THIS WINTER MAXIMIZE YOUR ENERGY SAVINGS WITH ISOLAR NEUTRALUX .

Cold and dark days do not have to be sign of discomfort and sadness , with the range ISOLAR NEUTRALUX when the sun peeks , we can take advantage of it and simultaneously save energy when heating is on. Its portfolio gains and the environment thanks!

COMFORT AND SAVINGS

Glass areas of buildings, windows, doors or skylights are strongly responsible for energy losses, so thinking about allies on energy efficiency is to think about glass solutions which make these areas more efficient.

O vidro e a luz

The correct use of natural light is a crucial factor when we think about saving luminous electric power, whether in working, study, leisure areas or among the comfort of your home. The more you take advantage of natural light the less you use bulbs, which represent a comfort and saving factor.

The modern technology of ISOLAR NEUTRALUX allows positioning the total amount of light which passes through the glass in about 80%, a very important factor in this point.

In what concerns to the unit of measurement and its light advantages is the LT (Light Transmission) in % (Percentage). The higher this unit is the less need of electric power to illuminate the area.

The glass and the sun

Solar radiation, besides visible light, contains ultraviolet and infrared rays, that when fall on objects heat them and these release natural heating energy.

Due to its low emissivity, ISOLAR NEUTRALUX covering creates a barrier which avoids this natural heating energy from getting loss through the glass, thus contributing for a lower need of mechanical heating.

Both energy released by objects heated by the sun as those released by mechanical heaters, are of the same kind (the same wavelength), therefore ISOLAR NEUTRALUX helps controlling heating energy losses coming from mechanical heating.

The unit of measurement in what respects to energy loss is the Ug (Glass heat transfer coefficient) in W/m2.K. The closest to the zero the less energy loss the glass will have.

Maximising comfort and saving

To maximise ISOLAR NEUTRALUX energy efficiency, this can be made by filling in the interlayer chambers with noble gases as argon or and krypton, thus contributing to a reinforced thermal insulation.

It is also possible to have the glass interlayer chamber, which is usually in aluminium, replaced by an element of less thermal conductivity, warm edge, taking advantage on a global energy saving and granting a less possibility of condensation in the glass perimeter.
